Hello Health provides the Patient Management platform and the professional services that allow practitioners to build stronger patients relationships, automate their processes, increase revenue and take control of their practices.
At the heart of Hello Health is proprietary technology developed by Myca Health Inc., our parent company. My Take on HelloHealth
HelloHealth has an excellent UI that is clean and very intuitive. This is important to me and a focus of this website since most UI’s for EMR’s are the absolute last priority. Problem is, providers are now avid fanatics for a good user experience (sorry Epic). I derive this from a personal experience in the health industry. I have always worked in clinical settings for providers who loved Macs. They loved the simple design and user experience of the Mac OS far more than Windows. However, IT staff love their MSFT technology stack making providers often times grumpy. Then came EMR providers who said, “this is a clinical application, lets not focus on user experience but overload the hell out of it with features because doctors love features”. Wrong. Doctors love simple interfaces that just work.
HelloHealth has a simple user experience and is in my opinion very clean and user friendly. They have a free patient portal that has a “freemium” concept which is a bit odd since I have never seen a consumer upgrade to a paid health model on an EMR/PHR but who knows, there is a first for everything.
HelloHealth has some great functionality that checks all the boxes for MU. One area that I think needs improvement is the ability to leverage a better codified structure with human language taxonomy tied to the terms a patient enters. There is bi-directional communication and care teams but I did not see a high level of permission and sharing framework (at least a granular level) but do have basic sharing preferences.
I highly recommend checking out HelloHealth as an option. The pricing seems right on the money and the technology is new. The user experience is solid and a great start to a strong SaaS product.
